About the Role:
Pine Haven Family Medicine PA is a small private family practice looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Randleman, NC. Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures
  • Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system
  • Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform routine diagnostic tests (EKGs, phlebotomy, urinalysis)
  • Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits
  • Manage prescription refill requests and prior authorizations under provider direction
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-up care, and appointment scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
Requirements:
  • Current CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required
  • Experience in a family medicine, primary care, or outpatient clinical setting preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software
  • Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent bedside manner and patient-centered communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
  • CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
