Overview:
Sentara Medical Group - Williamsburg, VA - Multi Specialty Clinic is looking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant.
Standard Working Hours: 7:45 am - 4:15 pm, Monday - Friday
Qualified candidates could receive up to $5,000 Sign on Bonus!
The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - Certification - American Medical Technologists (AMT) or EMT Basic-Certifications-National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)- Certification National Healthcare Association (NHA) or EMT Advanced-Certification -National Registry of Emergency Medical
Experience
- One year experience in a clinic setting (required).
