Certified Medication Aide (CMA/ACMA) – Double Weekend Position

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team for a double weekend shift. This role is essential in ensuring our residents receive safe, timely medication administration while providing high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and state regulations
• Perform medication cart counts at shift change and maintain proper documentation
• Monitor residents for medication side effects and report concerns to nurse
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely charting
• Ensure medication carts are secured at all times (no unattended keys)
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and team members
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents

Qualifications

• Active CMA/ACMA certification (required)
• Current CPR certification 
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule Details

• Double Weekend: Every Saturday & Sunday
• 16–32 hours/week depending on shift length
• Opportunity for additional PRN shifts if desired
