    Description

    The Cambridge Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team in Smyrna, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely administering medications to residents, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments, and maintaining accurate records. This role demands attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to resident care.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer prescribed medications to residents following established protocols and safety guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
    • Monitor residents for any adverse reactions and report concerns promptly.
    • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented.
    • Maintain a clean and organized medication area in compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Educate residents on their medications as appropriate.

    Shift

    3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. 

    11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. 

    Requirements

    • Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
    • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Compassionate attitude towards residents and team members.
