    Job Description

    Certified Medication Aide, Bristol Glen, Newton, NJ

    $23.00–$25.55/hour based on experience, plus shift differentials up to $2.00/hour. Part-time evening shifts available. We aim to respond to every applicant within 48 hours.

    What you'll do

    • Give residents their medications safely and on schedule, following state rules and RN guidance
    • Check blood sugar and give insulin when a resident's care plan calls for it
    • Watch how residents respond to their medications and document it accurately
    • Answer questions from residents and families, and flag anything the nurse needs to know right away
    • Receive and store incoming pharmacy orders

    What you'll need

    Required:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification
    • Current and active New Jersey CNA certification

    Preferred:

    • Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living

    Pay and benefits

    • $23.00–$25.55/hour, based on experience
    • Shift differentials: $2.00/hour evenings, $2.00/hour overnights, $1.50/hour weekends

    Schedule

    Part-time. 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., with an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. A flu vaccination is required for this role, with medical and religious exemptions available on request.
