Job Title: Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech)
Location: The Fountains
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available
Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

• Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

• Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Position Summary

The Fountains is seeking compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Certified Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to join our team. The Med Tech is responsible for administering medications, assisting residents with daily living activities, and ensuring the highest level of care and safety in accordance with community policies and state regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders.

• Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.

• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and potential side effects.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.

• Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff.

• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in compliance with regulations.

• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

• Follow all safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification required.

• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

• Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
