The 3:00PM - 11:30PM is a FT or PT position. The Medication Aide dispenses medications and provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and caring for the resident's environment. The Medication Aide will also assist the Nurse in charge.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and has completed and passed the Medication Administration Training Program. He or she must have a genuine desire to work with the elderly or disabled and prior experience is preferred. Effective oral and written skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
