Valid certification as a PA DHS Certified Medication Technician (CMT) or equivalent credential.
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration protocols.
Experience working with EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care is advantageous.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
Strong caregiving skills including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice support, and working with people with disabilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations.
