The Lutheran Home is hiring Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join our resident-centered care team. Available Shifts:- Full-Time Day Shift: 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.
- Part-Time Morning Shift (4-hour): Morning coverage hours vary
- Part-Time Evening Shift (4-hour): 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- Part-Time Night Shift: 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
- Part-Time Weekend Shifts Available: Weekend availability may include day, evening, or night shifts based on facility needs
Part-time shifts may be a great fit for individuals pursuing healthcare or nursing education who are seeking flexible hours and hands-on experience.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication records under supervision of a nurse
- Takes vital signs or observe residents for responses to medications; report unexpected reactions to appropriate personnel
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Respond to call lights and take appropriate action
- Complete documentation accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Immediately report any abuse, neglect, changes in resident condition, or incidents to the nurse
- Communicates resident requests or concerns in a timely manner
- Promote respect, communication, and teamwork
- Participate in ongoing staff education and training
Requirements:- Current Missouri CMT certification
- Current Missouri CNA certification
- CPR certification preferred
- Insulin administration certification preferred
- Experience with Point Click Care preferred
