  • Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour paid bi-weekly
  • Shift: 2nd shift –3pm-11pm – includes every other weekend
  • Location: South Mountain Pennsylvania 17261
  • Benefits : available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, compassionate care to veteran residents in a long-term care facility, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure; report abnormalities to licensed nursing staff.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury.
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive conditions to nurses and healthcare team members.
  • Support residents with specialized needs, including dementia, chronic illness, and physical disabilities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control and safety standards.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
  • Assist with meal service, monitor food and fluid intake, and report nutritional concerns.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests to ensure timely care and safety.
  • Document care provided and resident status accurately in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to support individualized care plans.
  • Uphold resident rights, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in recreational activities and programs that enhance residents’ quality of life.

Requirements:

  • Certified CNA
  • 1 year of experience in long term care
