As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Assist with feeding and ensure patients receive meals and prescribed medications.
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
Safely transfer and reposition patients using proper body mechanics and lifting techniques.
Prepare patient rooms with necessary supplies and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Assist with toileting and incontinence care.
Turn and reposition patients to prevent pressure injuries.
Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures.
Active New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification required.
Current resume required.
In-person interview required.
Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital experience preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Familiarity with medical equipment and documentation systems.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
