    Job Description

    As a valued member of our nursing team, you'll work alongside Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality care while creating a positive patient experience. Whether you're helping a patient regain independence, offering comfort during recovery, or simply providing a reassuring smile, your work truly matters.

    What You'll Do

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will:

    • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
    • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
    • Help ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout their hospital stay.
    • Record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
    • Assist with patient transportation to tests, procedures, and other departments.
    • Change bed linens and maintain a clean, organized patient environment.
    • Assist with meal service, feeding, and between-meal nourishment as appropriate.
    • Support nurses with a variety of patient care activities while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional care and outstanding service.

    Additional Job Description

    Minimum Education

    • High school diploma or GED required.

    Experience

    • At least one year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting or as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.

    Licensure & Certifications

    • Current South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
    • Must be listed on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry and remain in good standing.
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or obtained within required timeframe).
    • Crisis Prevention Training may be required based on department assignment.
