Position Overview:CNAs at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation are responsible for performing personal care and assistance for our residents and patients.
Key Responsibilities:Report changes in the resident's condition
Assist with admission and discharge of patients
Under the guidance of a licensed nurse, provide quality and compassionate care to the residents and patients
Requirements:Current and valid NYS CNA certification
High School Diploma or GED
Recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population a plus; will hire newly certified CNAs
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing
