Status: Full Time
Schedule: 4 days a week 0600-1630 or 5 days a week 0600-1500
Location: Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center - 1000 Medical Center Dr., Hardeeville, South Carolina 29927
What We're Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience:
- One year, preferred.
- One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Completion of NAI program, required.
- Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
- Medication Safety - AME, required.
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
What You'll Do:
- Empties and records data from Foley catheters and surgical drains.
- Measures and records vital signs.
- Performs tasks like checking blood sugar or prepping the skin area if required.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment, changes bed linens, and disposes of waste.
- Answers call lights and reports any significant patient changes to the RN.
