What You'll Do
Facilitate Patient Intake & Flow: Guide patients to exam rooms, assist with positioning and undressing for wound care or examinations, and ensure they are comfortable and prepared.
Monitor & Record Vital Signs: Accurately measure and document patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, respiration) prior to provider consultation.
Prepare Clinical Environments: Organize and set up specific medical instruments and supplies in accordance with RN or physician instructions.
Provide Direct Patient Support: Assist patients with safe mobility, including transferring to exam tables and escorting to restrooms as needed.
Support Administrative Workflows: Retrieve, organize, and prepare necessary medical records, consent forms, and documentation to streamline provider workflows.
Deliver Versatile Clinical Assistance: Proactively support nursing and medical staff with daily clinical and administrative tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
What We're Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience: 1 year of Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required.
Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
Medication Safety - AME, required.
NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation
