    Description

    McLeod OB/GYN Associates is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team of dedicated OBGYNs!

    • Experienced candidates preferred, but will consider a new graduate*

    Qualifications /Training:

    • 1 to 3 years related work experience.

    Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

    • Certified Nurse Midwife degree required.
    • BLS

    Job Description:

    • The responsibilities for this position include: providing women's health care, family planning, pregnancy care, childbirth, postpartum period care, and gynecological needs.
    • Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
    • Assess the needs of patients based on data collected by reviewing electronic medical records, and clinical support staff.
    • Records physical findings and formulates care plan.
    • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
    • Call is required.
    • Maintains professional clinical knowledge for licensure and completes required training according to deadline.
