Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll play a vital role in supporting our patients' daily needs, promoting their independence, and fostering a positive environment. With a strong focus on compassion, patient-centered care, and teamwork, we're seeking dedicated CNAs to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, hands-on personal care and support to residents, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting

• Assist with feeding and monitor nutritional/fluid intake

• Reposition residents to prevent pressure injuries and assist with mobility exercises

• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or mood to licensed nurses

• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, treating them with dignity and respect

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of practice (state registry listing)

• High school diploma or GED (preferred, not always required)

• Current CPR/BLS certification (may be required by facility)

• Ability to pass background check and health screening (TB test, immunizations)

Preferred:

• 6+ months of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a geriatric setting

• Experience with electronic documentation systems (e.g., PointClickCare, MatrixCare)

• Dementia/Alzheimer's care training or certification

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and be on feet for the entire shift

• Ability to lift/transfer residents (typically 25–50+ lbs, with assistance/equipment)

• Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive motion

• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to bodily fluids, illness, and infection

Work Environment:

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting

• May require rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Close, hands-on contact with residents who may have physical or cognitive impairments
