Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care and support to clients in their homes. The CNA will assist clients with everyday activities, personal care, mobility, and other routine needs while helping maintain their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
The successful candidate should be caring, responsible, dependable, and able to work respectfully with clients and their families. The CNA will also communicate with members of the healthcare team and report any changes in the client's condition or needs.
Key Duties:
- The CNA will assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs. They will provide support with walking, transfers, mobility, and prescribed exercises as appropriate.
- Additional duties may include monitoring meals and fluid intake, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing other care according to the client's individualized care plan. The CNA will communicate important observations or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals and maintain accurate care documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Current CPR and First Aid certification are also required.
- The ideal candidate should have basic computer skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to follow established health, safety, and infection-control procedures. Candidates must be physically capable of safely assisting clients with mobility and transfers.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is important, along with a strong commitment to treating every client with compassion, respect, professionalism, and dignity.
