Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care and support services in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting safety, dignity, and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, ambulation, and personal hygiene
  • Support nursing staff with basic medical procedures and post-surgical care
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and mental conditions
  • Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and specimen collections
  • Maintain accurate medical records and worksheets
  • Assist residents during meals and support dietary needs
  • Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations
  • Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident care areas
  • Assist with transportation, clerical duties, and other support tasks as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement and workplace process initiatives

Requirements:

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and patient safety practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships within a healthcare team
  • Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
