Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

DownEast Surgery Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team.

Duties Include:

• Assist with admitting surgical patients.
• Finger sticks, vital signs, dressing, and transfers to wheelchairs.
• Assist settling post-op patients.
• Assist patients in the bathroom
• Assist with nutrition for the patients.
• Assit the RN with discharging the patients.
• Assist with Room turnovers (cleaning and setting the room up for the next patient)
• Stocking items such as nutritional items, beverages and medical stock.
• Assist wherever needed in the building.

Schedule: Day shift, four nine hour shifts per week. Schedule will be Monday-Friday, with days varying based on department needs.  No weekends!
