Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Sampson Regional Medical Center is searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Emergency Department!

Description:

The selected candidate will perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients of all ages under the direction and guidance of professional and nursing personnel. Assists with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Assists in the Emergency Department as a circulator. Provides transportation of patients to radiology and other units.

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Terminology knowledge required.
• Unit Secretary experience preferred, including clerical and computer experience.

Hours:

This is a full-time, day shift position working 7:00am - 7:00pm. Rotating weekends and holidays will be required. Other hours may be required for the effective operation of the department.
