At Kaw River Care and Rehab, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Edwardsville, Kansas. Night shift.

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation nursing team, providing total care to our residents, including activities of daily living (ADLs), thoroughly assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. Your warm and friendly demeanor will make it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

COMPETITIVE SALARY

This rehabilitation nursing position earns a competitive salary of $20.00 - $23.50 per hour.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

As a CNA, you will:

• Provide care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card

• Visit with residents and reposition as required

• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight

• Conduct range of motion as needed

• Observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior

• Maintain confidentiality and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

• Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program

• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice (if yours has lapsed, we can help you reinstate it!)

• Current CPR certification

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations

• Desire to work with the elderly

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time health care position works 12-hour 1 day or 1 night shift position available. 7 to 7.

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.

3-day weekends every other weekend.

Never work more than 3 days in a row.

7 days off every 14 days.

Average 2 hours of overtime every week.
