    The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization to hire a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a compassionate healthcare team where your skills, dedication, and patient-centered care truly make a difference.

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You'll assist with daily patient needs, support the clinical team with delegated tasks within your scope of practice, and help create a safe, compassionate, and healing environment for every patient.

    Schedule: Full-Time | 0.8 FTE

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
    • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety
    • Perform delegated clinical tasks within the CNA scope of practice
    • Observe, document, & promptly report changes in patient condition, behavior/activity to the RN
    • Accurately document patient care using electronic medical records
    • Utilize standard office equipment, including printers and fax machines
    • Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient care
    • Maintain a safe, organized, therapeutic, and patient-focused environment

    What We Are Looking For

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma, HiSET, or GED equivalent preferred
    • Successful completion of a CNA program required
    • Current CNA certification and valid BLS certification
    • Enrollment in the hospital CNA Training Program with certification obtained upon completion
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care across the lifespan
    • Previous hospital or long-term care experience preferred
    • Proficiency in using standard office equipment, including printers and fax machines
    • SECURE Training required within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter

    Nurses providing orthopedic and spine care must maintain DNV-required specialty education, annual competency validation, and ongoing continuing education including:

    • Musculoskeletal anatomy & physiology; Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS)
    • Pain management, Safe mobility & fall prevention
    • Prevention of DVT, infection, and pressure injuries
    • Glucose management & Recognition of compartment syndrome

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
    • Adaptability, accountability, and professionalism
    • Ability to stay composed in high pressure situations
