Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Days

Location: Cascades at Riverwalk, Midvale Utah

Hours: 6 AM to 6 PM, 3 days per week

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable

Requirements

• Current CNA certification required
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience.
