Location: West Bend, Iowa
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Schedule Options: 4x8s or 5x8s
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation support
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in condition
• Support nursing staff with clinical tasks and patient care needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting dignity and respect
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal healthcare regulations

Education & Certification Requirements

• Active Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current BLS certification 
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay at $22/hour
• Full-time, stable hours with 4x8 or 5x8 schedule flexibility
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
