The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Helena, MT and we are looking for a compassionate and team-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant to join a compassionate healthcare team where your skills, dedication, and patient-centered care truly make a difference.

We are seeking CNAs who are flexible and open to floating between different units.Full-time Day and Night shifts are available. 

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality direct patient care and support daily clinical operations within your scope of practice.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, value teamwork, and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct patient care with compassion, professionalism, and respect
  • Assist the healthcare team with delegated tasks and procedures within CNA scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation with minimal supervision
  • Support unit operations using office equipment such as printers and fax machines
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities while prioritizing patient safety and quality care
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
  • Uphold the hospital’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence in patient care
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the roles/responsibilities and seek clarification when needed

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous hospital or long-term care experience preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
  • Ability to remain professional with a positive attitude, productive, and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan
  • Ability to recognize and communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the RN
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients of all ages

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma, HiSET, or GED equivalent preferred
  • Successful completion of a CNA program required

Please note: This position may qualify for a training assignment. Employees participating in training assignments may receive compensation below the standard base pay during the training period. Terms of the training assignment will be provided in writing upon hire.

Licensures & Certifications

  • Current CNA certification required or
  • Enrollment in the SPH CNA Training Program with certification obtained upon completion
  • Current and valid BLS certification require
  • SECURE Training required within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter
