QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience (hospital or long-term care preferred).
  • Must be certified via Prometric Hawaii
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong patient care and time management skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
  • BLS/CPR Certification
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating patients safely.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights.
  • Assist with meal setup and feeding when necessary.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
  • Follow infection control practices and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with nurses and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
