Our CNAs are an important part of the care team and spend their days getting to know the residents they care for, supporting their needs, and helping make AHR feel like home.What You'll DoAs a CNA, you'll work closely with residents and the nursing team to provide hands-on care and support throughout the shift.Responsibilities include:Providing compassionate, hands-on care to residentsAssisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobilityAnswering call lights and responding to residents' needsAssisting with meals and encouraging independence whenever possibleObserving and reporting changes in residents' condition to the nursing teamCompleting accurate documentationWorking as part of a team to provide safe, respectful, and quality careBuilding positive relationships with residents and their familiesWhat We're Looking ForCurrent Wisconsin CNA certification and active placement on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide RegistryDependable and compassionate approach to resident careStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently while also being a supportive team memberCommitment to treating residents and coworkers with dignity and respectPrevious long-term care experience is welcome, but we're happy to talk with qualified CNAs who are newer to the fieldWhy AHR?At Augusta Health and Rehabilitation, we believe good care starts with good people.
