The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, hands-on care to patients and residents, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring their condition, and supporting nurses in maintaining patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
Job Responsibilities
Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, and weight.
Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and use of mobility equipment.
Observe and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
Assist with meals and monitor patients' food and fluid intake.
Provide emotional support and companionship while respecting patient privacy and dignity.
Document patient care accurately and follow facility policies and infection-control procedures.
