Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / T-CNA) – Night Shift Contract

Location:Camden, ME
Position Type: Contract Assignment
Contract Duration: 18 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA / T-CNA) to join a skilled nursing and long-term care team for a night shift contract assignment. This role involves providing direct resident care, supporting nursing staff, and helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance.
  • Measure and document vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly.
  • Support resident comfort and safety through repositioning, transfers, and ambulation assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and care requests.
  • Assist nursing staff with routine patient care and clinical support tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and patient care areas.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.
  • Deliver compassionate care while promoting resident dignity, comfort, and respect.

Qualifications

  • Active CNA or Temporary CNA (T-CNA) certification required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care.
