Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team on night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to residents in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, promoting independence and dignity.

• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to ensure accurate documentation and effective patient care.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being.

• Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

• Support patients with mobility needs, including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs, promoting safety and independence.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols, ensuring a healthy and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.

• Engage in specialized care in settings such as hospice care, behavioral health units, or pediatrics, adapting to unique needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans effectively, promoting seamless communication and coordination.

Experience

• Familiarity with medical documentation systems is a plus, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.

• Experience in specialized areas such as memory care or hospice care is beneficial, with the ability to provide tailored support and care.
