Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long Term Care (Local)
Location: Far Rockaway, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Variable – 5x8 Day Shifts

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $23–$25/hour ($862 – $937/week) – based on experience

Radius Rule: Candidates must reside within a 20-mile radius of the facility.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
• Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations)
• Assist with feeding, hydration, and monitor dietary intake
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff
• Maintain infection control standards, including proper PPE use and hand hygiene
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Provide compassionate and respectful patient care at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) required
• Active New York CNA License required
• BLS Certification required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
