Certified Nursing Assistant Med -Surg - Full -Time | Nights

The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Russellville, Alabama to hire compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for the Med -Surg unit.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

As a CNA on the Med -Surg unit, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Your work directly contributes to patient comfort, safety, recovery, and the overall success of the care team in a dynamic hospital setting.<\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient transfers throughout the unit<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall prevention measures<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Provide post -operative care support by monitoring patient comfort and reporting concerns<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient rooms and clinical areas<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Respond promptly and compassionately to call lights and patient needs<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN or care team<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assist with specimen collection and transport following protocol<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Deliver exceptional, patient -centered care in a fast -paced Med -Surg environment<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>

  What We’re Looking For<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience)<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Previous experience in a hospital or Med -Surg setting preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Strong communication, teamwork, organizational & multitasking skills<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Compassionate, patient -focused care with a commitment to safety and confidentiality<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in fast -paced environments<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
