Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be an essential member of our caregiving team, supporting residents' daily needs while promoting their comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well-being. This role requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional resident-centered care and fostering a positive living environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and mental condition to the nursing team.
  • Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Encourage resident independence while providing assistance as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
  • Ensure resident rights, privacy, and dignity are maintained at all times.
  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and state regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality resident care.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license in accordance with state requirements, OR in a current NAIT program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident care.
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
