Position Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be an essential member of our caregiving team, supporting residents' daily needs while promoting their comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well-being. This role requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing exceptional resident-centered care and fostering a positive living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and mental condition to the nursing team.
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Encourage resident independence while providing assistance as needed.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
- Ensure resident rights, privacy, and dignity are maintained at all times.
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality resident care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license in accordance with state requirements, OR in a current NAIT program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident care.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
