We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant (CNA/HHA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support patients in a private home care setting as well as at a number of facilities such as: acute, sub-acute, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, and assisted living facilities. As Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients’ daily needs and enhancing their comfort. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, PRN Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks.
Skills
Strong knowledge of physiology to understand patient needs effectively.
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks is preferred.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is maintained.
Experience in home care, nursing homes, ICU, or hospice care settings is a plus.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is highly desirable.
Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
