We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant (CNA/HHA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support patients in a private home care setting as well as at a number of facilities such as: acute, sub-acute, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, and assisted living facilities. As Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients’ daily needs and enhancing their comfort.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, PRN
Responsibilities



    • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
    • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
    • Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
    • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
    • Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
    • Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
    • Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health record systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks.


  • Skills


    • Strong knowledge of physiology to understand patient needs effectively.
    • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks is preferred.
    • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is maintained.
    • Experience in home care, nursing homes, ICU, or hospice care settings is a plus.
    • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is highly desirable.
    • Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
    • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
