Position: Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Oshkosh, WI 54903
Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)
Pay rate: $26/hr.
Setting: Corrections
Scheduling options: 40 hours/week
Rotating 8-hour shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm), every other weekend and assigned holidays.
Rotating 8-hour shift (10 pm - 06:30 am), every other weekend and assigned holidays.
Overview: The CNA provides direct patient care and support services to individuals within a secure correctional healthcare environment. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs), and healthcare providers, the CNA assists with activities of daily living, monitors patient conditions, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to the delivery of safe, compassionate, and effective healthcare services.
Qualifications
Active Wisconsin CNA license (or ability to get reciprocity)
Previous correctional healthcare, behavioral health, long-term care, hospital, or skilled nursing experience is preferred
Active CPR/BLS or the ability to obtain it.
