Role Description The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at The Personal Touch is a full-time, on-site role based in Redmond, WA. The CNA will provide direct, hands-on care to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and documenting vital signs, reporting changes in condition to supervising nurses, supporting safe transfers and positioning, and assisting with basic exercises as directed by the care plan. The CNA will help with meal preparation, feeding support, light housekeeping related to client care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. The role also involves offering companionship, emotional support, and respectful communication to clients and their families, collaborating with RNs and other care team members to follow individualized care plans and uphold high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Washington State and compliance with all applicable state regulations.

• Demonstrated skills in personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility support.
• \n
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs, observe changes in client condition, and report concerns to clinical supervisors.
• \n
• Experience providing compassionate companionship, emotional support, and clear, professional communication to clients and families.
• \n
• Knowledge of infection prevention, safety procedures, proper body mechanics, and adherence to established care protocols.
• \n
• Capacity to follow individualized care plans, take direction from RNs and other clinicians, and work effectively as part of a care team.
• \n
• Reliable, punctual, and organized, with the ability to manage time and tasks in a home care or residential setting.

• Prior experience in home care, hospice, dementia/Alzheimer’s care, or working with veterans is beneficial but not required.
