Certified Nursing Assistant

Ellis House LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home care team in Clinton, MD. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, health status, and changes in condition
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety
• Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare team members regarding patient care
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote patient well-being

Requirements:

• Active and valid CNA certification in the state of Maryland
• Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care preferred
• Strong knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and personal care procedures
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Clinton, MD area
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor with a client-first attitude
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all state home care requirements
