Certified Nursing Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly dependable and caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at St. John's in Springfield MN. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our residents and assisting them with daily living activities. Your primary goal will be to promote our patients' comfort and well-being by providing exceptional care. You will work closely with our nursing team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification or working towards certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to transfer patients as needed
• Must pass Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Screening
• If you are not currently certified you can still apply and we will help you get enrolled in a program to receive your certification.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families

Skills:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide quality care to our residents. You will also use your ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure that our residents receive timely care. Your ability to lift and move residents will be essential in assisting with patient mobility and transfers. Overall, your skills will be crucial in providing exceptional care to our residents. If you are not currently certified you can still apply and we will help you get enrolled in a program to receive your certification.

8 hour and 12 hour shifts open. Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
