Position Summary
The Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) supports the daily operations of the Medical Department by implementing occupational health and safety programs, providing first aid and treatment for workplace illnesses and injuries, administering immunizations, coordinating employee testing and medical surveillance programs, and maintaining confidential medical records. The role collaborates closely with providers, nursing staff, and safety personnel to promote employee health and workplace safety, ensure compliance with occupational health policies and nursing standards, deliver health education and counseling, and support the continuous improvement of occupational health services and programs. In collaboration with providers, nursing staff, and safety personnel, the COHN will help promote workplace health and safety through employee education, health promotion initiatives, medical surveillance programs, and continuous improvement of occupational health services. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Department's mission to protect the health and well-being of America's diplomatic community and ensure the operational continuity of Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC) training activities.

This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.
