@Home Therapy is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health occupational therapy services throughout New York City.
Work one-on-one with adult and geriatric patients in their homes, helping them improve independence with everyday activities while enjoying the flexibility to create your own schedule.
What You'll Do:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Help patients improve independence with ADLs and IADLs, including dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and other daily activities.
Reinforce upper extremity exercises, fine motor skills, coordination, balance during functional tasks, and home safety techniques.
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment, energy conservation, fall prevention, and safe performance of daily activities.
Monitor patient progress, communicate changes to the supervising OT, and complete timely EMR documentation.

Qualifications:
Current New York State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Comfortable working independently in the community.
Home health experience is a plus but not required.
