Job Description:- Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to help patients improve mobility, strength, and daily living skills
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and adaptive equipment use
- Document patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding therapy services
Education & Certification Requirements:- Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license in South Dakota (or eligibility for licensure)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required
