Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, assist patients in improving functional abilities, and support rehabilitation goals that promote independence and quality of life.

Shift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Meal Break: 30 Minutes Day Shift Flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends as needed GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour REQUIREMENTS
Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification in good standing Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment techniques and adaptive equipment Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) Train patients on adaptive techniques and use of assistive devices Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Occupational Therapist Support therapeutic activities that improve functional independence, mobility, and safety Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and optimal quality of life ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
