Bellestar Home Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality home health therapy services to patients throughout Amador and Sacramento County. Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strengthening, and safety training
Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising OT
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition
Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and adaptive techniques
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
Current California COTA license in good standing
Home health experience preferred but not required
Current CPR certification
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
