Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant We are seeking a compassionate and motivated full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting children's development and is committed to helping students succeed both academically and functionally. The COTA will work under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans, support students with a variety of needs, and collaborate closely with educators and support staff. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skill are essential. We're looking for someone who is flexible, student-centered, and comfortable working with diverse populations, including students with autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and other developmental needs, Daily Responsibilities : Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Assist patients with activities of daily living Utilize adaptive equipment to support patient needs Participate in care planning and discharge planning Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions Required Skills: Knowledge of pediatric Occupational Therapy practices and child development Manage caseload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to support students with fine motor, sensory processing and self-regulation needs. Ability to implement treatment plans developed by a Licensed Occupational Therapist Experience working in school - based settings. Strong understanding of IEPs (individualized education programs) and goal implementation. Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow FERPA and other regulations. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Nice to Have Skills: Experience with sensory integration techniques Familiarity with autism spectrum and developmental disorders School based Medicaid billing knowledge Experience with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication BLS certification Company Information: Ar Community Therapeutix, we specialize in providing thoughtful designed, holistic therapy services for both children and adults.
