CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PRN)

Provide occupational rehabilitative services to people under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team. In coordination with OT, plan initial and subsequent treatment programs based on test findings. Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients. Complete all paperwork in required time specification. Perform duties under strict rules of confidentiality.

Graduate of accredited OTA program with a minimum of an associate’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistant. One year’s experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant preferred. Qualifications include current CPR license, Texas licensure and some computer skills required. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend, and reach when providing patient care. Pushing and pulling up to 300 pounds and carrying up to 50 pounds. Ability to lift or move patients when needed.
