Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at MedStar Health, you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. In hospital and outpatient settings, you will implement treatment plans to help patients improve functional independence, strength, and daily living skills. Responsibilities include conducting therapeutic activities, instructing patients in use of adaptive equipment, documenting progress in the electronic health record, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team, and educating patients and families.
