    Description

    The licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for treatments of in and out-patients after evaluation of the patient has been carried out by the Licensed Physical/Occupational Therapist. The therapist must possess skills to assess and plan care for patients of all levels and growth and development. Treats patients with a variety of physical and cognitive problems utilizing appropriate therapeutic services under direct supervision of an O.T.R., documenting services provided, patient performance and change in condition. Actively participates in meeting the goals, improving processes and performance of the department and clinical sites, encouraging and supporting others in mutual achievement. Degrees:

    • Associates.

    Licenses & Certifications:

    • Physical Therapist Assistant.
    • Basic Life Support.
    • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification.
    • Occupational Therapy Assistant.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Licensed as a physical therapist /occupational therapy assistant by the Department of Professional Regulations in the State of Florida.
    • CPR Certified - Basic Life Support (Healthcare Provider).

    Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 year
