Responsibilities include:Assisting with patient assessments, treatment planning, and goal achievement.Providing therapy services, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes.Collaborating with patients and care teams to deliver age‑appropriate, culturally sensitive care.Maintaining a safe and organized therapy environment and following safety protocols.Qualifications Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligibility to obtain it.BLS/CPR certification required.One year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.Physical Requirements Significant standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods.Ability to lift or exert up to 50 pounds.Possible exposure to bodily fluids.Visual acuity sufficient for patient assessment and documentation.Acute hearing required for accurate assessment.Manual dexterity for operating equipment and computer keyboard.Equal Employment Opportunity We value our employees' skills, talents, and input.
