Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing facility setting. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with residents while supporting their ability to perform everyday activities safely and independently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities focused on self-care, coordination, balance, and upper extremity function
- Support implementation of individualized treatment goals and adaptive techniques
- Observe resident response to therapy and communicate updates to the OT
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
